- Rules -
001. You must have, at the least, HTML experience; and must provide a good example of such, when applying for a subject.
Preferably, don't use free hosts that other users cannot always view - good free hosts that most can see, are 50webs.com, and Freewebs.com, for example.
Also, it would be appreciated to make sure to test out your fanlisting, once complete; on browsers, such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, and others; for compatibility - if it looks better in one browser (or more), please place a note, saying so, on the splash/front page.
002. When applying, send in one form per subject; and please use the format of:
Game Series: Title of Game - Subject
But if you're applying for something that appears throughout various games - for example, a character, location, or item - then you can just apply with the game series, followed by the subject.
003. You have one month from the date you were approved to send in a finished form for your fanlisting.
For example, if you were approved July 13th, you have to send it in before August 13th - if you are placed on troubles, then you have one extra week to finish up.
You must update at least every two months, even if nobody has joined; and be sure to place an last updated section, so that everybody knows the fanlisting is still being taken care of.
004. If you get in trouble for something relating to your fanlisting, three times in a row; then you automatically lose your fanlisting. For example, getting placed on troubles three times, for not updating.
To report listed fanlistings, simply use the Contact Form, in the comments section - to tell us about which fanlisting you're talking about, with it's URL, and what's wrong with it.
005. There can only be one fanlisting for a subject listed at a time. We don't accept fanlistings for versions of characters.
For example, the fanlisting for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Sheik, should simply be listed along with The Legend of Zelda: Princess Zelda instead.
Both relationship, and rivalry, fanlistings are allowed here; with up to three characters per relationships, and rivalries.
006. Remember to link back to The Game Fanlistings, with the url -
[ http://www.piccolo-daimao.net/thegamefanlistings/ ]
- in a visible place, on your fanlisting; with either one of our buttons, or a text link.
All rules are prone to change, and be updated, as we see fit.
