About Saria

Saria is a character in the Ocarina of Time, which was the first Zelda game for the Nintendo 64. She is a Kokiri, whom the others look up to, as, I think, a mother figure. She is the close friend of Link, whom, for a long time, until Navi came around, did not have a faery, and thus, was treated differently - it is suggested that Saria defended Link from the others, especially Mido, who was jealous of Link, for being the favourite of the Deku Tree, and Saria, whom he has a love interest for - Saria, however, has feelings for Link, and that is stated later on in the game, by Mido himself, after he tells Link (who he doesn't know, as an adult) that she's been waiting for Link all this time. When she becomes the Forest Sage, she tells Link, that they belong in different worlds, but that they'll always be best friends (I believe, I haven't played the game in a long time... so...)

About Saria's Song

Saria's Song, is the song that echoes throughout the Lost Woods, she plays it at her favourite spot, which is in the Sacred Meadow, and it appears that Skull Kids like to play this song, too. This song is played in other Zelda games, and in Super Smash Brothers: Melee, and Brawl.
