Lumina appears in the GameCube game, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, and is the granddaughter of a elderly rich woman, named Romana. They both live with their longtime servant, Sebastian, whose family has served Romana's, for generations.

Lumina also makes appearances in other games, such as Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life, which is the female player version of the game, and she is your rival for the boy, Rock. Rock is her usual partner in other versions of that game, like the special edition for the PlayStation 2, and some other games.

She is considered too young to marry, in the GameCube version [with her age being about 14 years old], but in the PlayStation 2 special edition [her age is altered to 18 years old in the manual in this, and the female player version in the GameCube one], they add her in as another bride, for some reason... so, that also means you can marry her in the other games as well, when playing as the male player, who is the usual lead character.

Her personality is somewhat spoiled, and shy. She loves to play piano, but not when she is being pressured by her grandmother. Being the rival girl for Rock, she obviously has feelings for him, but he tends to goof off, most of the time, and makes her upset, until he matures [I have no idea, or evidence, of him doing so though... yet.], and they marry, and whatnot...
